A message from Procopio Towle Dental Office about COVID-19

To Our Dear Patients: As part of our patient family, your safety and well-being remain of utmost importance to all of us at Procopio Towle Dental Office.  We would like you to know that we share your likely concerns with respect to the current global and domestic issues related to COVID-19 (Coronavirus).  As always, we strive to ensure our office maintains the highest standards of clinical dental hygiene and treatment for the health and safety of our patients.  We would like to inform you that none of our staff members have travelled to any known infected areas. We have always and will continue to maintain our office environment in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. As dental healthcare providers, it is more important than ever that we give you as much flexibility as possible when scheduling your next dental hygiene appointment or procedure.  It is also imperative that we give you as much information as possible about the procedures we follow to keep our dental office clean, and our equipment and instruments sterilized.  Our team is also committed to following the most current best practices suggested by the California Dental Association (CDA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and OSHA. We would like to further share with you a few specific steps we are taking for our valued patients during your visit at Procopio Towle Dental Office:

·      Our front desk and clinical team have reviewed the CDA, CDC and OSHA guidelines and are meeting or exceeding these.

·      Hard surfaces such as dental chairs, dental side tables, countertops, and door handles are thoroughly wiped down with a high-grade disinfectant and multi-purpose cleaner after each patient.

·      Our dental office is equipped with a high-efficiency (HEPA) filter to circulate the air frequently and remove more than 99% of airborne particulates.

·      Our cleaning staff thoroughly cleans the entire office on a daily basis.

For your part, even if it means a last-minute cancellation, we request that you stay home if you have a cold, feel ill, or have travelled to a place where COVID-19 is prevalent.  We will work with you to reschedule your appointment once you feel better and will waive the cancellation fee, if applicable.
